Knowing Jesus as Your Best Friend

Harvest Church, Who Is Jesus to You?

This weekend, I challenged you to look into the life of Jesus in a unique way and ask the question, Who is Jesus to you?

I shared that Jesus, in essence was given a “nickname” of Immanuel, which means, God with us. The presence of Jesus is with us in every way. He is with us in our everyday routine, our everyday work, our everyday relationship stuff. Jesus understands our relationships, our life and our pain. Read More

Go After Your Dreams with a Plan!

I hope you have had a great February so far. Hard to believe how fast this year is moving. But it’s with that perspective that I hope you have taken time to write down your vision, dreams & goals for this year.

Here are a few of my notes from Sunday’s message, The Journey:

In order to obtain your dreams:

1. You Must Prepare a Plan

The future belongs to the person who PLANS for it.

The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty. (Proverbs 21:5) Read More

Setting Your Vision – The Journey Sermon – Part 1

Everyone ends up somewhere, but few people end up somewhere on purpose.

There are a lot of accidental things going on in the world, especially when we take God out of the equation. We end up getting off course, and we make mistakes (sin). But seeking God during our journey gives us direction and helps us to avoid making these mistakes, especially when we take the time to set our vision on what’s truly important and to lay out a road map for how to accomplish our goals. This is true in spiritual goals, life goals, and career goals. Read More

Learning to Forgive Through Jesus

Good Morning!

Well, here we go with some white stuff. I hope you are all having a great day no matter what!

I must admit that this message series is touching my heart and I pray yours too. I know God is at work and doing great things here at Harvest. I believe a White Christmas (forgiveness) is His desire also.

Here are a few of my notes from Sunday:

We feel these things when we are offended:

  • Betrayed
  • Falsely accused
  • Rejection
  • Abuse
  • Humiliated or embarrassed

God is Never Done Restoring Us!

What a great day to be alive! Djuana and I are praying and believing for you and your families.

As we finished up the Great Restoration this past weekend, I want to let you know that even though this series is complete, God is never done restoring us. This process of being restored lasts a lifetime. If you look back on your life, you will most definitely see you are not the same that you were 5 years ago, 6 months ago or even yesterday. Sometimes that’s for the good and sometimes not so good. But if you will allow God to continue to take you through His restoration process, He will make you into exactly what He desires for you.
